BIH's Homeopathy Community Room Open House
&
BAHA Mentorship Mixer
Sunday, November 6th
2 - 4pm
Iris Ratowsky, CCH, Director and head instructor of Berkeley Institute of Homeopathy is introducing a new Homeopathy Community Room in Berkeley, California and cordially invites the Bay Area Homeopathy community to come and see how beautiful it is!
It is a resource to us for studying homeopathy, as well as classroom rental, and holding meetings.
If you have any books or homeopathic literature or artifacts you'd like to donate to this space, please bring them, or get in touch with
Iris Ratowsky. Also contact Iris if you are interested in renting the space.
To mark the occasion, BAHA is inviting anyone interested in being a homeopathy mentor or having a mentor to the Open House.
We will have brief introductions, and potential mentors will share something of their philosophy and style of working, advice for new homeopaths, and anything else they wish to share. Mentees will have a chance to share their needs. Hopefully this gives people a chance to get more of a feel for who they'd like to work with professionally.
Please RSVP to Kathleen Scheible at

More on BAHA mentorship involvement:
Previously, an email was sent out with an initial listing of our members who are local, and willing to either be case mentors and/or willing to mentor folks about their practice in some way.
http://www.bayareahomeopathyassociation.org/mentors.html
If you are wondering how this list came to be, it is simply those people who had stated they would like to be a mentor when BAHA had our membership drive this past spring (and since then).
The list is still very open, and everyone is invited to participate!
It is, however, important for potential mentees to know whether you are CHC certified, and therefore eligible to provide case mentorship for certification, or willing to do case mentorship in general, or other kinds of mentorship such as business practices.
Please contact me if you'd like to be added to the list.
If you can't make the first mixer, but would like to participate in the future, there will be more! I hope to make it a monthly event for a few months, and then perhaps quarterly. I believe it is also a good forum for airing needs and concerns within our profession, especially for new homeopaths.
Also, if you're a member and there are other things you'd like to get off the ground, let's discuss, or if you have a project you're working on that you'd like to let people know about.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Scheible, CCH (Cand.)
