of the Government Homeopathic Hospital,
Trivandrum, Kerala State, India

Health care professionals Those desiring to create a new career in homeopathy in California (a health freedom state where no license is required to practice) Those desiring to use homeopathy to care for their family

Textbooks and course materials will be provided.*(course meets every 9 months for a 12 day session broken into two 6 day modules with a 5-day break in between. The break is time to do required course reading; enjoy the beautiful and unspoiled beauty of the Mendocino pacific coast; or (for more local participants) - to get some work done at home before returning for the second part of the session).
Cost: The Course in Classical Homeopathy (48 days instruction, 8 hrs per seminar day); occurs in 4 sessions with 9 months between each session.

use of temperament, miasm, keynotes, and other factors for quick recognition of the curative classical remedy in chronic and acute situations approaches to severe conditions in which US homeopaths have inconsistent results; have little experience with in practice; or never see in practice;
topics which are rarely or never covered in homeopathic postgraduate programs in the US

Who is Dr. Issac? Dr. Issac shares from 25 years of clinical experience in a homeopathic-only hospital practice (following on decades by his father before him). Dr. Issac is a professor at the Government Homeopathic Medical College, Trivandrum, Kerala State, India. No allopathic medicine is used in the 100-bed hospital there, which is equipped with an intensive care unit and full homeopathic dispensary. In Kerala State, India, 30% of the medical system is government-supported classical homeopathy.
This is homeopathy much as Hering and Lippe practiced it in Philadelphia at the height of the era of US hospital-style practice. In the US, removal of homeopathic education from federal reimbursement in 1910 caused all US medical schools to phase out homeopathic MD programs by 1940. Schools that were forced to drop their 5-year homeopathic programs included the Univ. of California at San Francisco, Univ. of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Boston U., and the Univ. of Pennsylvania (Hahnemann Medical College, named for the founder of the homeopathic medical system). Homeopathic medicine was introduced into India by the British in 1850, and its educational infrastructure was never interrupted so profoundly. India has 250,000 MD-level practitioners. According to the World Health Organization, homeopathic therapeutics is today used worldwide by 500 million in primary care.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR - includes brief excerpts from Dr. Issac's 4 days of lecture and multimedia presentation given in May 2010 in Berkeley and Mendocino, California. These excerpts have been complemented with material from David Little, a former student of KJ Issac, (Dr. Issac's father), who describes some of the methods of these physicians. Illustrated is the value of hospital prescribing as an important mode of practice which every homeopath should aspire to add to their skillbase. Pointers for rapid differential and recognition of common constitutional types are essential when a large number of clients must be served in a day. Confidence with severe acute states is essential in emergencies when working at home or abroad. Many homeopaths in the US have had minimal experience with life- threatening acute disease states. Knowing what is possible by witnessing well-documented curative responses in severe, life-threatening, (or thought to be incurable) organic diseases is tutelage rarely available in this country.
