February 20 - 21, 2010    (Saturday and  Sunday) MOMS and BABIES:  USING HOMEOPATHY FOR THE CHILDBIRTHING YEAR MJ Hanafin,  RN, CNM, NP, DHOM

Be prepared to work with clients who are: pregnant preparing for birth recovering from childbirth managing lactation issues suffering from postpartum depression MJ  Hanafin will teach you how to effectively select remedies and manage cases for these clients.  She will cover homeopathic prenatal care, including turning breech babies inducing labor for babies that are overdue, and working with clients who are beta-strep positive. And, very importantly, she will teach about working with the Mom and Infant nursing couple.  You will learn strategies for seeing the case of each within the pair, and how to manage acute and chronic issues between the two.  You will get great material on dealing with all manner of lactation issues including mastitis, and helping clients with postpartum depression.  These are issues that come up in every family practice! If you are working with women of childbearing age, you need to join this class!

For those of you who do not know MJ, she is a Certified Nurse Midwife homeopath who has delivered more than 6000 babies from Nepal to New Mexico.  She graduated from the Dynamis School of Advanced Homeopathy in London, and has taught at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital and National Center for Homeopathy programs as well as classes for Pacific Academy and many other midwifery programs. MJ is an approved continuing education provider, so this class will provide continuing education credits. Her teaching style is dynamic and practical with great detail, supporting materials and so much wisdom. Her decades of experience  provide a wealth of information.
