Hypnotic Techniques for Homeopathic Practitioners

Homeopaths, do you ever get frustrated at the amount of time it takes to uncover your patient's core issues or "sensations"? Do you have patients who never seem to open up during the case-taking process, no matter how hard you try? Would you like to be able to spend more of your time "at the heart" of the case, instead of spending it /getting/ to the heart of the case? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you might benefit from this two-hour hands-on workshop in "hypno-homeopathy."

Many homeopathic practitioners, especially those who use the "Sensation Method", are well aware that it is often much easier to find a person's remedy once the patient reaches a trance state. Yet unfortunately, most homeopaths aren't taught how to achieve this state consistently, and so unless they intuitively know how to create a trance state, they often spend a large portion of the case-taking process just waiting for that perfect moment to happen.

In this workshop, you'll learn some simple, hypnotic techniques that will help you to easily and naturally guide your patients into that desired trance state, where your patient's core issues and sensations can be uncovered much more easily than before. (In fact, after using these techniques, you might also find your own intuitive abilities growing as well!)

If you are interested in attending this workshop, I would recommend reading "The History of Hypnosis" on my website (www.nicolegaliano.com <http://www.nicolegaliano.com>) before arriving. It will only take you about 10-15 minutes to read it, but it will help familiarize you with some of the hypnotic terminology that I will be using.


Learning objectives

In this two-hour, hands-on workshop, you will:

1. Learn the similarities and differences between homeopathy and Mesmerism, and Mesmerism and hypnosis. (You'll also learn about the Mesmeric techniques that Hahnemann taught in the Organon!)

2. Learn the benefits of working in a waking trance state, versus not working in a waking trance state. Understand the synergistic effects that happen when hypnosis with homeopathy are combined, from case studies.

3. Understand what exactly happens in a waking trance state, for both the patient and the practitioner.

4. Learn the best hypnotic methods to achieve a deep, waking trance state; learn how to set up the trance state in the beginning of the case, and how deepen the trance state throughout the case-taking process.

5. Learn how to also create "homeopathic hypnosis" scripts, by combining hypnotic techniques with information from the Materia Medica. (This is especially useful if you find yourself without a remedy on hand, or ever find yourself needing a remedy that has not yet been potentized.)

6. As a bonus, I'll show you a great biofeedback technique (an instant "migraine" cure) that will make patients think you're magic, and if done correctly, can instantly create referrals for your practice.

The Passing of Michael Neuman

My friend and fellow homeopath Michael Neuman from Sparks, Nevada passed away Wednesday January 27th from a heart attack.

He studied at the ICH, then continued his studies through Dr. Andre Saine's DVD course. 
He was passionate about homeopathy and loved nothing better than to have a good ol' yarn sharing stories and cases.
His latest interest was Dr. George Dimitriadis's work on Boenninghausen's concomitants.

He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn, step son Tom and favorite dog Reggie. He was 58 years old.

I will miss our conversations.

Among reptiles, snakes a group are fairly well known and used in Homeopathy. Despite the utility of the several famous snakes, there are even far more remedies from snakes than have been commonly used. Additionally, they are not the only reptiles from which remedies are available. Other interesting and useful reptiles include the lizard group as well as crocodiles and turtles. The large grouping of snakes also has sub-families divisions that help delineate defining characteristics with greater accuracy in prescribing.
 
All reptiles that slither, slink, slide and are slow will be discussed, focusing on family and sub-family characteristics as well as the differences in individual species.
 
With Frans Vermeulen's characteristics thoroughness, these animal sources and the remedies made from them will be discussed at length and in detail. Characteristics in common as well as each one's unique presentation will be explored. Linda Johnston will present sample cases exemplifying the remedy as well as demonstrating how to apply the results of Fran's research and data into useful clues in prescribing.
