Volunteers needed to work in Ghana as part of the Ghana Homeopathy Project (www.ghanahomeopathy.org)

It will involve working in clinics in different parts of the country and so people need to have a reasonable amount of knowledge of homeopathy (preferably having qualified from school).

Ideally two months would be a minimum amount of time to commit, but possibly less would work.

HI everybody:

Greetings to one and all. As some of you may know, I am on my way to Africa to help with the work being established in Ghana (www.ghanahomeopathy.org).
I have given up my practice and the Pacific Academy, not to mention a slew of other organizations, and am hoping to contribute to homeopathy in Ghana and Africa in general.

The timing of this is interesting as many of you are aware of the attacks on homeopathy coming from an organization based in the UK, called Sense About Science and their offshoot Voices of Young Scientists. They are writing to all the health ministeries in Africa, telling them the WHO does not recommend homeopathy, their wider aim to discredit homeopathy in every possible way.

So, it is important to help establish homeopathy in Africa and make it a viable health option for the many issues people face there. It is also important to pay close attention to the political attacks on homeopathy and to take appropriate action when necessary.

Raising money for the African projects is one important way to support this work. The Ghana project is bringing two experienced Indian homeopaths to the country in October, to teach local homeopaths and to help the developing homeopathic profession there. There is a need to raise money to support this project.

I will be writing more later and hoping to raise more money for specific projects there. There are big plans which will need financial support. A little can go a long way in Africa.

This is the website of the journal, the California Homeopath which I am editor of. There are two articles there in the issue, Volume 13, #1, written by Carol Boyce which shines much light on the agenda of these folk. It is important to know who we are fighting here.

The website of the journal is not fully complete yet but we are working on producing a fully online version which will be ready soon. The next edition, Volume 13, #2 will be coming out soon.
You will be able to subscribe online and that will give you access to all previous editions of the journal. Please do support the journal. We have quite a few hard copies of previous editions of the journal to sell. The last edition, with the articles mentioned in cost $15.00 and all other editions are $10.00 except the 1st one (Volume 11, #1) which is $5.00.
