Dear Bay Area Homeopaths -
We are sad to report that Nancy Prinz passed away on Wednesday, May 6, surrounded by her son and friends. She had liver cancer and chose to spend her last days at home.
Nancy graduated from the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy in 2005 and was actively involved in the school's community clinic for many years as the Clinic Coordinator. She worked diligently with Richard Pitt, bringing a feminine perspective to her work collating the provings of Tabacum and Petroleum. She was known for her unrelenting curiosity, reflected in projects such as her reading and cross-referencing every rubric in the "delusion" section of her repertory, whose binding had long been tattered by frequent use. She was always interested in the "dark" side of a remedy, and was not content when this perspective was eclipsed.
Nancy`s friends cherished the wisdom and hearty laughter she brought to their conversations. She took great delight in irony; we always knew not to call her between eight and nine p.m., as she`d be watching The Colbert Report and The Daily Show. Her loving manner of listening and profound sense of understanding touched many lives.
A memorial will be held for Nancy on Saturday, June 27, 2009, 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Jelly's Cafe in San Francisco.
Please RSVP to Ferhan either by e-mail ferhan77@yahoo.com or by phone: (415) 596-4382; this will help us get a head count for the caterer.
